At ServiceMaster LoveJoy, our contents restoration team will work alongside our property restoration team to restore your property in Roswell and Conyers, Georgia as quickly as possible. While your building is being restored, our team will be working to safely pack out your building’s contents and get it back to our contents cleaning division.

Each item will be documented, inventoried, handled, and packed the right way so that your belongings are safe. What is Involved in The Fire Damage Cleaning and Sanitizing Process?

Contents Analysis

After a property loss, a member of the fire damage cleaning and restoration team will examine the items that have been affected to determine which are considered salvageable or unsalvageable. Salvageable items are those that will undergo the restoration process and return to the pre-loss condition. Items deemed un-salvageable will have sustained too much damage and can’t be restored. These items will need to be replaced.

Pack Up

The pack up process begins with a certified restoration technician photographing the salvageable items. Once all items are photographed and inventoried, the restoration technician will pack up the belongings using protective measures to ensure the safety of all items. The packed up items are then transported to our Cleaning Facility.

Pack Back

The pack-out process occurs once the packed up items have arrived at our Cleaning Facility. At this point, the certified restoration technician will prepare the contents for cleaning.

Contents Cleaning

Our facility is equipped with advanced cleaning equipment. These sophisticated systems are the newest, most highly advanced, game-changing systems in the industry designed to clean and restore 90% of soft and hard content.ServiceMaster uses air scrubbers to make the air safe to breathe again and thermal fogging to deodorize your home.

Contents Storing

After the salvageable contents have successfully completed the contents cleaning process, the items are then moved into our state of the art warehouse which has a large, temperature-controlled area specifically for the storage of personal and business contents. Each individual customer is assigned a vault. The cleaned contents can be stored in the vault until the customer is ready to receive their items.

Pack Back

When the customer is ready to receive their cleaned contents, our technicians will pack back the items, load onto a truck, and deliver to the customer.

Unpack

The final step of the contents cleaning process is unpacking. Once your belongings have safely arrived at your home, our technicians will unpack the boxes. The inventory list is then reviewed with the customer. This allows the opportunity for our technicians and the customer to inspect each cleaned item together to ensure quality and that all items are properly accounted for.
